I'm a college student based in Berkeley, California but from the North Lake Tahoe area with a major travel bug. Follow along for my adventures with travel, food, fitness, school, and life.
As a fourth year college student at UC Berkeley, I have found myself being exposed to new people, new experiences, and new adventures that I could have never imagined knowing back in my small home town of North Lake Tahoe. Going from a high school graduating class of seventy-four students to a school with a student body ten times the population of my entire hometown was a shock to say the least, but it was everything I needed.
You see, somewhere within the experience of trading the familiar and safe small town life for the demanding, quirky, fast-paced, unpredictable life of a Cal student, I began to recognize the things of importance in my life. My loves of traveling and writing stuck with me while I fell in love with new things-- psychology, the city, running, activism... This blog serves to share these passions with the world, but more importantly, to maintain those connections with friends and family that my life would be incomplete without.
While I embark on a five-month-long study abroad experience and the rest of my life (whatever that might look like), I hope to use this medium to live out loud and share my world with the people who are my world as I continue to grow and discover.
